The Queen’s Breath
Take a second to get comfortable, wherever you are, and give yourself these next 3 minutes completely. Close your eyes and place one hand on your belly, one hand on your heart.
Take a deep cleansing breath to begin. Inhale fully through your nose… and sigh it out, releasing your day.
Now let the hand on your heart be still and breathe deep into the hand on your belly. Feel it rise as you inhale. This is the rhythm:
Breathe in your power — 4 counts
Hold in your center — 2 counts
Release your worries — 6 counts
Again — inhale 4… hold 2… exhale 6.
As you breathe, imagine a golden light moving from your heart down into your womb space — melting away stress, bringing warmth and calm.
Continue this breath and focus all your attention on the air entering and leaving your body. Feel your belly rise and fall.
