About Alisha

Alisha Rutland

I teach women to read their body with intelligence, context and trust.

Her Holistic Coach is where lived experience, functional health strategy, feminine rhythm and deeply personal coaching come together.

Root-cause lensWe look beneath the loudest symptom for the pattern creating pressure.
Whole-woman contextYour biology, history, rhythm, goals and real life belong in the same picture.
Personal supportThe plan is held, interpreted and refined rather than handed over and forgotten.

Lived, studied, integrated.A method shaped by rebuilding, questioning and learning to listen to the body differently.

Who I am

I did not find this work through curiosity. I found it through crisis.

Before I ever coached another woman, I had to learn how to hear my own body when normal answers were not enough. I have lived through an eating disorder and hospitalisation, rebuilt after three fractured vertebrae, faced leptospirosis and meningitis, and held my newborn while my motherhood was questioned by Child Protection within a day of giving birth.

Those experiences did not make me interested in health from a distance. They made the work personal. They showed me what it feels like to be frightened, dismissed, fiercely disciplined and still unable to make the whole picture fit.

I have walked through moments that changed the way I understand resilience. Not as pretending everything is fine, and not as using my story to promise another woman the same outcome, but as learning what becomes possible when biology, clinical care, nourishment, recovery, nervous-system safety and real life are allowed to belong in the same conversation.

That is why I will never reduce a woman to a symptom list or ask her to punish a body she no longer trusts.

The story behind the work

The chapters that made belief unavoidable.

01

The war with my own body

Food was control, punishment and comfort.

I know the private exhaustion of counting, restricting, bingeing and looking in the mirror with no kindness left. Healing my relationship with food was not a lesson in stronger willpower. It was the beginning of understanding what my body was asking for and why.

That chapter is why nutrition in my work is never built on shame. A woman’s food history, nervous system, hormones, capacity and need for safety matter as much as the plan itself.

02

When healing became embodied

My body asked me to rebuild more than once.

A motorbike accident in Bali left me with three fractured vertebrae. Later, another accident and contaminated water were followed by leptospirosis and meningitis. Both experiences demanded qualified care, patience, precise support and a willingness to see recovery as a whole-body process.

Nutrition, rest, rehabilitation, nervous-system regulation and clinically supervised options all had a place. That is why I respect both foundations and clinical collaboration. No single tool gets to pretend it is the whole answer.

03

Motherhood under scrutiny

I learned what it costs to trust yourself under pressure.

Within a day of bringing my newborn home, Child Protection arrived because a medical professional disagreed with choices I had made. My motherhood and judgement were examined during one of the most tender windows of my life. The matter closed without action.

That experience forged the part of me that can sit beside a woman who has been dismissed or made to doubt what she knows she is feeling. I do not confuse authority with truth, and I do not confuse questioning with failure.

I did not build this method from research alone. I built it from the moments when I needed the body to make sense.

Why this work exists

Women deserve more than disconnected advice.

01

Symptoms are signals

Fatigue, cravings, digestion, sleep, mood, cycle and body composition are part of one conversation.

02

Context changes everything

The same symptom can mean something different depending on history, stage, stress load, recovery and the systems around it.

03

The right order matters

A good plan is not the longest list. It is the clearest sequence of what deserves support first.

The standard

Soft enough to feel safe. Precise enough to create change.

You are not being pushed harder. You are being read more intelligently.

01

No shame

Your body is never positioned as the enemy, and your symptoms are never reduced to a discipline problem.

02

No generic map

Your history, hormonal stage, preferences, capacity and real life shape the support.

03

No isolated system

We keep the wider pattern visible so one intervention does not create pressure somewhere else.

04

No disappearing

Inside the deeper pathways, the app holds your plan, check-ins, education, feedback and direct support together.

How I hold clients

The work is premium because it is personal.

The women I work with are often capable, intelligent and exhausted from carrying their health alone. They do not need another person telling them to try harder.

My coaching is direct, nurturing, pattern-led and practical. I can hold the wider biological picture while helping you simplify the next meal, understand a craving, interpret a check-in or choose the smallest useful action when your nervous system is tired.

The strategy stays intelligent because it stays connected to the woman living it.
